Great leaders can be humble.
Humility is an often overlooked quality of great leaders. Take a moment and think of leaders past and present. Think of them in the context of humility. Visualize their presence in the room with you now. The great ones aren't seeking attention. They are present. They are observant. They are engaged. They aren't center stage.
Our great leaders exploit the human capital available to them to get things done. Their success is achieved by leveraging the talents of others. Their skill is in rapidly assessing each individual's ability to contribute toward the objective and empowring them as an individual and a team member to succeed.
The humble leader credits others, even when the success was primarily due to his/her efforts.
